It’s about time, by any standards of  political heel-dragging, that  the Harper appointees go gently into that  good night, but look out,  BC,  Gordo  “three martini” Campbell  will be back in town, very shortly..you remember, the guy with the  9% approval rating, the guy who created the reno-viction  plague, the guy who made  ‘leaky condos’ a  phrase for the ages in BC, the guy who dismantled the trades apprenticeship program  and  made  elevator inspectors, hairdressers and others mere  wage slaves  with no training necessary…that  guy, the one  who got arrested for  driving  drunk in Hawaii while still Premiere of this province..who  wept  like a Southern televangelist on TV begging for forgiveness for his sins, but who refused  to  do the  honorable thing and  quit..you know,  the  abject liar who swore he wouldn’t implement  the HST, pre-election,  and did just that anyway…his reward from his  overlord Harper?  Why, a plummy job in the UK as a  ‘commissioner’  at  Canada House..whatever it is that   the position entails, I would bet it pays well…I could go on and on, but, you get the drift…

Yep, that guy..and now he’ll be  back, and  we have to wonder how  Christy  Clark is gonna feel about that…she’s  sunk almost as low in the  polls, and his  imminent return will  make it so  easy to do a comparison between them.., and I thought the RNC  was the only excuse I had for popcorn….

Hi – you forgot one small thing which that terrific guy Gordon Campbell did. He cut help for the disabled to such an extent that many attempted suicide. We in the disabled community have never forgotten (though apparently everyone else has) what that vile excuse for a human being did to us with a shadow of compassion or care. And without a word of protest from Christy or the others in Cabinet. What a guy.

Alice..I apologize – you are absolutely right, including I believe cutting funding for the Talking Book program with the CNIB..he was a monster of epic proportions, ..with that sneering sociopathic smile..pretty disgusting excuse for a human being, but if I spent many hours writing them all down, I think I would still have left many of his egregious acts out..sins of omission, I assure you not on purpose..the list is just so long…just remembered another one, cutting funding for women’s shelters..what a class act…

That slimy scum’s coming back to town? Great, I suppose.
The last real BC premier without credibility problems was probably Mike Harcourt, and he resigned over someone else’s damn scandal. That’s how straight he was. He resigned cause of some fuc… jerk who was causing problems in the federal NDP, not the provincial party. And maybe that cursed BC. We let an honorable, even if not comparatively competent, leader go.
Since then, we’ve had dishonorable leader after leader who don’t gently go whether BC NDP or BC Liberal. They scrape and claw and fight to retain their positions. And they make BC a worse place to live, year by year. Cutback by cutback. Shi… crappy budget by crappy budget.
Fantastic. I’m so looking forward to the next election when it’ll be between Christy Clark, and Placeholder-for-Gregor-Robertson, I mean John Whatsisname.

Sad but true..although I think tat Robertson’s ambitions are bigger than the Province..and I would be willing to bet that he’d switch to the FedLibs in a New York minute..
Used to work for the City of Vancouver..and his party likes to pretend to be environmentally friendly and caring..but they are corporate stooges just like all the rest…
happy to trade union donations for labor peace..which is the only thing i liked about them..at least that was good for the workers…not a single strike in any of the several civic unions since he was first elected.
